 Collection — Box B46
Identifier: KHC-12
Content Description

This collection is made up of post cards from France during World War I, most of which have embroidered patterns on the front. These patterns are often either patriotic or shows of unity between France and their allies in World War I. Messages on the cards were written by U.S. soldier John W. Williamson Jr. to his sister and his mother. There are also handkercheifs and doilies, many of which are embroidered as souvenirs from France.
