Content Description

36 postcards, mostly related to various holidays and events, such as Valentine's Day, Christmas, and Easter. There are also documents related to the Student Army Training Corps from Washburn College in 1918, a Chase and Sanborn Coffee advertisement, and a document related to the pioneer parade in Dodge City, Kansas. There is also a souvenir from Pueblo containing images of Native American people.

Biographical / Historical

Russell Snyder was born in Dodge City, Kansas on August 8, 1899. He attended Washburn College in Topeka Kansas and served in World War I. He married Mary Lee Wortman on December 29, 1926. Snyder died in Dodge City on September 19, 1987.
