Scope and Contents Ash Grove School District was officially organized in 1909, but may have existed in other forms earlier than this, as multiple school shared this name going back to 1885.The site of the school was about 12 miles southwest of downtown Dodge City, about 1 mile north of today’s Ford County roads known as 102 Road and Wilburn Road. Photographs collected by Myrna Eastin which primarily document Mullinville, Kansas during the 1910s, focusing mostly on houses, schools, and churches. There are also three photographs of dust storms in Kansas during the 1930s, and a few photographs of Greensburg and Lakin. One photograph is of family members living in Goshen, Oregon. There is also a photograph of a train wreck somewhere in Kansas in 1914.
