Wolf Studio Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection contains photographs taken at Wolf Studio (also known as H.L. Wolf Studio) in Dodge City, Kansas. Many of the photographs document students of the 1898 graduating class of the Dodge City Public School, as well as the teacher A.H. Cord and the superintendant Warren Baker. There are also a number of largely unidentified individuals in the collection and photographs of children.

Biographical / Historical
Henry L. Wolf was a photographer in Dodge City and Garden City from 1884 to around 1900. He was born in 1850 in Indiana and moved to Kansas in the 1880s, where he would ultimately go into the photography business with C.A. Clinkling in 1884. He also established a studio in Garden City with his son, James Wolf.
