J.G. Trindle Collection
Content Description
This collection contains materials related to Joseph G. Trindle and his wife, Susie Appuhn, as well as their son, J.G. Trindle. Most of the materials in the collection are related to education, and include report cards from the 1930s, commencement programs from the 1880s and 1890s, school assignments (which include drawings made at Garfield School in Liberal, Kansas), and two scrapbooks. There are also correspondences, an autograph book, and catalogs for rope and machinery from the early 1900s. The collection also contains a number of photographs of a ranch, illustrating work in the cattle industry and turkey farming in the early 20th century.
