Pearl Myers - South Dodge "Mayor"

This photograph shows Pearl Myers at his home at 302 Smith Street in South Dodge City. The photograph was taken after the city commission honored Myers by naming Pearl Street after him. Myers kept an interest in the welfare of South Dodge and became known as the "mayor" of south Dodge because of this.
