Description
A photograph of Arch Nash, an employee of the Scott-Petty Mining Company and former B-29 pilot in World War II and the Korean War, who flew is airplane over Southwest Kansas in search of uranium. His plane carried a scintillometer, which was used to detect gamma radiation and locate uranium deposits.
